Really?! So then, what’s it going to take? What do you need to do to be successful in your industry? First thing to ask yourself and as always, I suggest you WRITE IT DOWN. This is why there is a notes/training section in your “Sales Bible”
What does successful look like to you? Is it a closing %, a certain income? Maybe it is winning the week? Winning the month? Winning a contest? the Rolex or the car? Or is it your quality of life? Do you want more time? A vacation? You want to have enough to have ______________________________________(fill in the blank)
So now that you have identified what your success goal is (You do realize you can change it any time right? its your goal – SO COOL).
How will you achieve it? Do you need someone to help you? Who can you work with that has already “walked the walk”? Could they mentor you? (Note: the people sitting around not talking to potential clients, telling you how you should do it? Don’t listen…if they were that good , they would be busy working with potential clients) Do you need a manager to spend time with you? Should you buy a book? Watch Videos? Is it a hard skill you are looking to acquire? A Soft skill? Is it a shift in your own belief system? An energy/frequencies shift?
Here is how easy it is … really! Just do it!
Set your intention – in other words get really clear, write down and then visualize you achieving your goal. Continue to visualize daily.
Create a plan – Who will help you? What are your action steps? I suggest you use daily achievements in your sales bible.
Create a system for follow up – “Any good plan is only as good as its follow up”. Talk to your manager, talk to your coach, and of course monitor it in your Sales Bible.
Celebrate – When you achieve a goal, reward yourself, give yourself recognition, you worked hard and smart to achieve. Would you ignore a team member when they did great things? Of course not, so don’t ignore yourself!
Journal – What did you do, how did you do it and why do you think it helped or harmed you in achieving this goal. – Chances are, you may slip in the future, and your Journal is AWESOME for getting you back on track.
As Always, if you need anything? I got your back!
Best!
